Location: Charlotte Region, North Carolina

Contribution: Principal Urban Designer. Developed the initial planning concepts and hand sketches, directed the master planning process, and led a small design team in preparing and refining the illustrative plans and entitlement exhibits.

This master plan established the framework for a new mixed-density residential community on a suburban greenfield site. The challenge was to achieve the development density needed to support the project while creating a neighborhood with its own identity through a thoughtful mix of housing types, pocket parks, a community trail, and future connections to adjacent properties. The project included a comprehensive entitlement package developed through an iterative review process with the municipality.
