Over more than 25 years, I've had the privilege of helping the City of Suwanee shape its evolution through a wide range of planning, urban design, programming, and strategic initiatives. What began as a single assignment evolved into a long-term partnership built on clear communication, practical judgment, and a shared commitment to creating memorable places. Over the years, the City's leadership repeatedly turned to me to help define challenges, explore opportunities, and communicate ideas—from city-shaping visions to targeted planning studies and implementation strategies.

Rather than representing a single project, the work shown here reflects the breadth of that ongoing collaboration.

Suwanee Town Center

I played a foundational role in helping shape the original planning and urban design framework for what would become Suwanee Town Center. The master plan established the street network, development framework, civic spaces, and urban design principles that guided the creation of the City's signature downtown. Today, the Town Center stands as one of the region's most recognized examples of suburban placemaking. Collaboration with Clark Patterson Lee and jB+a.

Town Center on Main

Nearly two decades later, the City again sought my assistance in envisioning the next chapter of its civic core. I collaborated on the illustrative vision for Town Center on Main, helping establish the park's overall organization, public spaces, and character. The completed park closely reflects the original planning concepts and hand sketches developed during the design process. Collaboration with Clark Patterson Lee and jB+a.

Citywide Planning

Beyond individual projects, I helped guide the City's long-term growth through comprehensive planning, future land use planning, redevelopment studies, and strategic planning initiatives. These efforts connected individual projects to a broader vision for Suwanee's continued evolution.

Strategic Planning & Programming

The City's trust extended beyond traditional planning assignments. Programming studies and facility planning efforts often began with broad questions rather than predetermined solutions. These studies helped evaluate future civic investments, redevelopment opportunities, and adaptive reuse strategies—including concepts that later became built community assets.

Together, these projects illustrate more than a collection of individual commissions. They represent a long-term partnership focused on helping the City of Suwanee grow, adapt, and build upon its vision over more than two decades.
